Usage on the Nissan SR20DET

Gap Adjustment: The out-of-the-box gap of 1.1mm is too wide for a turbocharged SR20DET, especially under increased boost. Most tuners recommend gapping these down to around 0.8mm (0.031") or tighter (0.028"–0.030") to prevent spark blow-out.

Heat Range: A heat range of 6 is standard for a stock-to-moderately-modified SR20DET (stock boost or mild increase on pump gas). If you are running significantly higher boost, track use, or E85/race fuel, a colder heat range like 7 (such as the BKR7E, part #4644) is often preferred.
