Add up to 30+ wheel horsepower to your C7 Corvette with this replacement drop in air filter!

After racking up thousands of miles on an ill-fitting and visually unappealing aftermarket C7 intake we decided there had to be a better way. A careful review showed the factory air intake piping and MAF housing outflow aftermarket piping, but the factory filter and how it mates to the factory MAF housing creates a significant restriction.

To address this problem with the factory filter we designed a replacement filter that has a thinner and less restrictive base to better mate up to the factory MAF housing, kept the filter DRY to avoid possible MAF oil contamination, and using a flow bench optimized the filter material, pleats, and other dimensions for maximum performance and filtration.

 
The net result was a drop-in filter that offers 15% less restriction than factory and 10% less restriction than the "leading" aftermarket drop-in filter when flow tested through the factory intake piping. Back to back dyno testing against the stock filter and an aftermarket intake verified the same or improved performance levels when keeping all other variables (air/fuel, timing, starting temps) consistent.

Note the factory airbox with the BMS drop-in filter outperforms the GM performance intake with clear window (part #84689752), see dyno comparison below, so if you are running the BMS drop in we don't suggest upgrading to the GM performance intake unless you just prefer the look under the hood. The BMS air intake filter upgrade works with all year C7 Corvettes 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 with no modification.

(Option 2) GM Performance Corvette Racing "Jake" Airbox with Clear Window 84689752: The BMS intake only filter fits in one way. The Burger Motorsports logo must be upright and the metal strip on the filter element facing down. There is a rectangle shape that fits the GM Performance "Jake" airbox with clear window on the bottom of the filter opening. The BMS filter for the GM Performance "Jake" Airbox with Clear Window is not interchangeable with the factory airbox. See the difference in size below! The Burger Motorsports upgraded filter goes much further into the fender for maximum airflow and is not encased in restrictive red metal mesh.
